Tours range in time and location. 4hr tours are considered half day and start at $500.  6hr tours start at $650, and Sunset Tours start at $200.  Reach out to us and we can quote you an exact price.  Out on the water and want to stay a little longer? No problem...  If there are no other tours that day then just ask Captain Mike to add on the extra hours or sunset tour if available.

Our United States Coast Guard Captain's license allows for up to  6 guests on board "Friend With a Boat Charters".  Bring your friends, family, neighbor or just a new friend on the dock.  In a larger group?  Let us know and we can reach out to other captains to add on another boat as well!

It's Florida and it's HOT!  We recommend reef safe sunscreen, hats, buffs, and UPF rated clothing.  Water and ice, along with cooler, is provided. Grab a snack or lunch of your preference to bring on board.  Alcohol is permitted but must be enjoyed responsibly and no underaged drinking is permitted.  Or leave the sandwiches at home and plan a stop into one of the dozens of restaurants on the water.  And of course a camera to capture those moments!

We can tailor to multiple spots or our home base in the upper keys.  Depending on your accommodations, we may be able to pick you up at your hotel (if on the water).  

You may have noticed fishing is not one of the focus adventures with "Friend With a Boat Charters".  There are countless fantastic fishing outfitters in the keys and we can recommend a few of them. We, unfortunately, do not focus on fishing to try to keep costs low and really aim for those friends and family that just want to be on the water.  If you have young ones that want to get a line wet then we can work something out for sure!

We hope to not get cancellations or cancel on guests, but of course life happens.  Weather is the main factor in the Keys and if it is deemed unsafe by Captain Mike to go out on the scheduled date, we would ideally try to reschedule and get you out on the water.  If rescheduling can't work out we will offer a full refund.  

If the booking is canceled more than 7 days in advance a full refund will be issued.  If cancelling  7 days to within 24hrs of the booking, the deposit will be forfeited.  Cancellations or no shows on the day of departure will be charged the full amount. 

That's a hard question and may change for each person.  For a relaxing and quiet day, a run to Nest Key island is the go to. For a fun day in the middle of the mix of locals and tourists, Islamorada Sandbar is the answer!  Snorkeling in one of the many reefs offers sightings of fish, eels, sharks and more.  Or if looking for tranquility, then we can set up a paddle board excursion to look at wildlife and nature. Do you just want to cruise on the boat and sightsee?  We have that as well. The choices are almost endless.

Unfortunately not.  Boats this size tend not to have bathrooms.
